Steel City Country Club Singer Adam Price Launches New Album!
Adam Price who is a regular at the Steel City Country Music Club in Speers Point has just produced a brand new album and will be debuting it’s launch on Sunday 27th November, 2011 at the Five Islands Recreation Club at Speers Point (the home of the Steel City Country Music Club).
The songs on the album are a rare mix of new, old and originals and the list of songs from the back cover are listed below… Where you can see that the popular recording studio Ocean Road Music on the Central Coast recorded and produced the songs (Rod McCormack being the owner and production manager of the studio, Rod is also the husband of Gina Jeffreys).

Adam’s two new singles “Under Your Spell” and “Something About You” have already been played on air across a broad range of radio stations and interviews for the new albums promotion have begun.
The song mix is a rather interesting one with a couple of old classics from Smoky Dawson, who Adam really admires. Homestead of My Dreams is one of Smoky’s best known songs and loved everywhere, while “Paint You a Song” is a rarer version of Smoky’s brilliant work (this song was actually a request from Adam’s mother, Daphne who loves country music).
“I’m extremely excited about the up coming launch and really hope that people warm to the new songs as much as the older classics we’ve put on the album” says Adam.
The other key to this album was Mel Sommers, the president of the Steel City Country Music Club and someone who a great many look up to and respect in this industry. Mel has been instrumental in helping many singers launch their careers, among them Snowy Robson, Catherine Britt and a good many others who have passed through the club over the years.

Adam Price will be promoting his new album over the coming year and has already begun an extensive marketing campaign to secure more live gigs in locations around Newcastle, Upper Hunter Valley, and Central Coast as well as the more country areas which Adam loves to sing.
